Improve your immunity with Vitamin D3

I think you can remember my blog on my wife’s health problem due to allergy. The breathing issue or asthmatic look like symptoms is often caused by allergy. But do you know that few allergic tendencies can be overcome by the use of Vitamin D3. In the other way I can say, if your are having Vitamin D3 deficiencies then you are more vulnerable to the allergic issue. Anyone can have this deficiency; it may be a kid or an adult. My wife too had Vit D3 deficiency. When her parents found out, they contacted a renowned nutritionist in Kolkata. Her Vit D3 was 16 ng/ML but after following the food chart and some exercise, her Vit D3 level increased well.


Vit D3 which is called as 25-hydroxy Vitamin D. The standard range of vitamin D3 in an adult human should be 30-75 ng/mL. If it is lower than 10, it is severe deficiency. Everyone think about Vitamin D which is called as Cholecalciferol as building the bones. Without Vitamin D the bones gets weaken and cause “Rickets”, a childhood disease. Rickets is characterized by slow growth and soft, weak, deformed long bones that bend and bow under their weight as children start to walk. This can be either caused by Vitamin D or  calcium or phosphorus. Vitamin D is generally generated when our skins get expose to sunlight. Sunlight is the main source to the Vit D production. Remember how our grandmother used to apply oil and expose us to sunlight when we were small? She knew the benefits of sunlight. Now we have seen people are having so many bone related problems all are because of lack of the exposure to the sun light.

Do you know Women are naturally having calcium deficiency? One reason is they do house hold work and have less amount of sunlight exposures which produces less amount of Vit D.

Coming to the main point of the topic, the Vit D deficiency can create problem to your immune system. It is proven that the Vit D deficiency increases the risk of viral infections like Influenza, HIV, etc. Especially pregnant women should have sufficient amount of Vit D during gestation.

If you have sufficient amount of Vit D3 in your body then it will be easier for you immune system to combat with allergic problem.

Vit D deficiency can be overcome by adequate amount of exposure to the sunlight which is the primary source of vit D for majority of the people. Also, it is available in dietary source. If you have Vit D3 level lower than 10 NG/ML then I will recommend you to meet a good nutritionist.
Any how I can give you the list of food which is having good amount of Vit D. The first source is mushroom, alfalfa, salmon fish, mackerel, tuna, sardine, egg yolk, liver of cow, goat, etc.

Different person’s health structure is different so I would suggest meeting a nutrition consultant to live well.
